39 Weeks Pregnant 4 Cm Dilated. Almost same situation as you here. Not much progress at all.
I had an internal yesterday at 39 weeks. I wish i could say yes but i have been 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced for about 2+ weeks now, lost my mucus plug last week and still nothing. I was 2 cm/0% effaced at 38 week appt.

Anyone go for a while being 4cm dilated with zero (or sporadic) contractions? One week later (39 weeks), 4 cm dilated/70% effaced. Dilation is the opening of the cervix.
